Nearly everyone completed the weekly exams successfully. Participation in the discussions indicated that the students were studying the material and able to provide thoughtful comments in their conversations with each other. The students followed the instructions for the research papers in order to successfully complete these assignments and gain the skills needed for writing research papers in the future. | I would like to increase the office hour attendance. The several students who attended regularly were able to gain clarification on the assignments; ask questions pertaining to the subject matter; and develop a sense of community. I am working on developing methods of introducing each week's topic that will prove to be interesting, engaging and that will support the community atmosphere where students can build connections with each other. |
