After the health pandemic, more college students are looking to enroll in online classes as part of their academic journey. Incoming classes are more diverse than ever, with on-campus students seeking to take at least one or more of their classes online.
In this talk, Davinder Kaur, vice president of online learning at LIM College, will discuss ways to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the realm of online learning and education. This presentation and discussion will serve to help educators create and cultivate a sense of belonging in the virtual classroom, build community for online learners, and discuss the role of faculty and administrators in fostering belongingness.
