    Below are additional notes for questions included with the slides linked above: 
    • What are the rules for club budget requests?
      • If you need support with supplies campus-wide events like Club Day or planned large-scale club events open to all students, please use a Budget Request. 
    • What are the limitations for budget requests?
      • For guest speakers, anyone that requires a fee will need to abide our DASG budget stipulations, and you will need to work with speakers within your club budget or allocation limits. 
    • How can clubs collect money for a fundraiser?
      • Money collection should not be done through Venmo, CashApp etc. 
      • Submit the Fundraiser form in order to help us guide your next steps. 
    • Can we sell food to fundraise for our club?
      • Can arrange fundraiser directly with the restaurant where people buy directly from them on advertised date and percentage will go to your club. 
      • Fundraisers that do not involve food work as well. 
      • Do not sell beverages or food on campus. 
    • What can we sell? Can we sell at the De Anza Flea Market? 
      • Must have a seller's permit to sell new or handmade items at the De Anza Flea Market. Second-hand goods okay.
      • Coordinate with your members/officers to collect used goods; potential to earn decent funding. 
    • Are any other documents needed to get reimbursed?
      • Sign-in sheets ensure funding is benefitting De Anza students and is within Per diem limits
      • Per diem limits ensure that you are spending a reasonable amount of money per person. The noted amounts are the Federal per diem and are used by our District.
    • We plan to have a speaker/performer/DJ/Photographer/other service - Do we pay them and get reimbursed the same way? 
      • Services should be done through a contract. You are not paying for a service directly. If you are ever not sure, please ask!
