Many Fall Classes Are Online
Check the schedule and click the title of each course to read the footnotes for details on how the class will be taught, including whether online classes will have regularly scheduled meeting times, some scheduled meetings, or no regularly scheduled meetings, with students completing weekly assignments on their own time. (You'll find tips and resources for online learning on the Guide to Fall Quarter website.)
COVID-19 Vaccinations Required for On-Campus Classes
If you are planning to be on campus this fall – for a class, a meeting or for any purpose – you must be vaccinated against COVID-19. You must submit proof of your final vaccination by Oct. 1, or you will be dropped from any on-campus classes in which you're registered. See the rules for coming to campus this fall.
New Listings for Intercultural Studies (Ethnic Studies)
Many courses that were previously labeled as “Intercultural Studies” are now offered through new departments. Be sure to look for classes with the prefix AFAM (African American Studies), ASAM (Asian American and Asian Studies), CETH (Comparative Ethnic Studies), CHLX (Chicanx and Latinx Studies) and NAIS (Native American and Indigenous Studies), in addition to the prefix ICS (Intercultural Studies). All courses offered through these departments will satisfy De Anza's ICS course requirement for an associate degree.
