    Advisor Announcement

    • Maritza:
      • Club communication and club submission has had a lot of communication issues. We are working with college life to make major changes with how we are processing certain things.
      • There’s at least one event that’s been requested using falsified advisor signatures. Moving forward, forms may still require a signature, but with additional follow up with your advisors. It’s unfortuante but we have lost trust from this incident.
      • Clubs should be working with college life for promotion, not with the office of communication directly. Communications office will check with College Life first since they don’t have a way of confirming that a room is already reserved.
      • We have our frontrunner for our ICC student assistance position, it will be announced soon once it’s decided.
    • Amy
      • Come to DASG's first-ever "Lights Out" event from 6-8 PM in Conference Room A&B on Friday 2/20.

    • A: We want to bring volunteering opporunities. We are also very consistent in meeting up.
    • Q: Do you meet on or off campus?
    • A: We usually meet at our friends place off campus since we are not an official club at De Anza. This is why we are seeking to become a club at De Anza so we can utilize the resources ICC has to offer.
    • Kyi: even though there are similar mission statemenets, the way the community is interpreted and the activities they presented shows that ISF has good organization and should be given a chance.
