    FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference

    This item is to discuss and possibly approve a budget transfer from the FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference Account (Account #: 46-56404, Object Code: 5510) to FA PAC Internship Program (Account #: 46-56405, Object Code: 2310) in the amount of $4,600.

    In addition, transfer funding from the FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference account (Account #: 46-56404, Object Code: 5510) to the FA PAC Internship Program (Account #: 46-56405, Object Code: 3200) in the amount of $70.00. 

    FA-PAC will not be attending the FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference this year (2025-2026). Funding would be used to pay student interns in the FA PAC Internship Program. Current allocation is insufficient to cover the estimated cost of interns.

    This item is to discuss and possibly approve $22.000 in funding from Special Allocations (Account # 41-58000) for the DASG Bike Program (Account # 41-55116) to purchase new more durable canopies to replace the ones that were in the Bike Corral to protect the DASG Bikes. The previous two sets of less durable canopies were destroyed by heavy storms.

    • Ann: La Voz will be attending an upcoming conference, thank you to DASG for funding this.

    Advisor Announcements

    • Maritza: Out due to an injury, hoping to attend homecoming and support in a limited capacity. All hands on deck day for homecoming, be timely with emails, tasks, communication etc. If it will impact your ability to do your role, difficult conversations may need to happen. 
    • Maliah: DASG Resource Fair on October 28, 2025 12pm - 3pm; Boba for students; Please help promote within your committees. 

    Senate Announcements

    • Joey: Homecoming is this Friday, October 24th from 6-9pm. 
    • Audrey: Please RSVP to Homecoming!
    • Min: Provided ICC guideline reminders and discussion took place on the requirements.

    • Administration: Discussed changes of elections code and scheduling of the rooms for elections sessions.

    • Jacob K moved to approve a Budget Transfer from FACCC Advocacy and Policy Conference (Account # 46-56404) to FA PAC Internship Program (Account # 46-56405) in the amount of $4,670 from Conference and Travel (Code 5510) with $4,600 to Student Salary (Code 2310) and $70 for Hourly Benefits (Code 3200).

    DASG Bike Program

    • The canopies in the Bike Corral have been damaged by heavy rain and wind every year and have been replaced at lease twice so far.
    • Alan moved to Refer the item back to the Finance Committee for further review.

    • The Motion Passed with No Objections.
