When It's Not an Emergency
Call 650.949.7313 (or use a campus phone to dial extension 7-3-1-3) for nonemergencies such as
- Reporting nonviolent crimes such as theft
- Reporting vehicle accidents in which there is no injury
- Reporting minor disturbances such as loud music
- Requesting assistance with unlocking doors, jump-starting a car, or obtaining a nighttime police escort
- Inquiring about parking issues, fingerprinting, lost and found items, filing a complaint or other general information about the district police
When you call the nonemergency number, you will always be given the option to reach a dispatcher, even when the campus police substation is closed.
Police Escort
- A police officer can accompany you to your class, car or bus stop between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please call 650.949.7313 to request an escort.
Campus Patrol
- The campus is patrolled 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, by officers from the district police and the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.

Civilian Complaints
- If you have a complaint about the conduct of any officer or employee of the Foothill-De Anza district police department, you may file a complaint by using the department's online civilian complaint form.
