Advanced Writing


Course Description

This course focuses on writing advanced academic essays. Students will apply academic writing principles and techniques as well as critical reading and thinking skills to develop and organize their ideas. They will also utilize advanced sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary, and other writing conventions to express their ideas clearly.

ESL 473.02Y: NONCREDIT HYBRID, meets on-campus and online. This class meets each week on campus and online as noted in the class listing. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system. This is a 12-week class.
