Core Conditioning
Course Description
This course introduces students to the principles of Physical Education through a focus on core conditioning, which strengthens the muscles that support and stabilize the body. Students will learn how the core—comprising the torso, back, hips, and abdominals—contributes to balance, posture, and overall fitness. The course explores the historical development of core strengthening, from early physical training methods to modern practices such as Pilates and contemporary fitness techniques. Emphasis will be placed on mat-based exercises, posture alignment, and the use of up-to-date equipment to enhance overall body strength and awareness.
