Spring Transfer Fair
* The ISP Office hosts a transfer fair on campus everyone spring quarter. Representatives from more than 40 universities, including most of the UC and CSU campuses, attend the fairs each year. The 2025 transfer fair will be held in early May 2025. More details to come.
Join the De Anza Outdoor Club for a Winter Adventure in Yosemite!
Experience the magic of Yosemite National Park this winter with the De Anza Outdoor Club, from January 31 to February 2, 2025. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or new to snowy activities, this trip is designed for everyone to enjoy!
Highlights of the Trip:
- Hikes: Explore stunning viewpoints above Yosemite Valley or venture to the top of one of the world’s tallest waterfalls.
- Ranger-Led Activities: Join a nature walk or a Ranger Naturalist snowshoe tour (snowshoes provided by the park).
- Snow Fun: Build snow sculptures or try skiing/snowboarding with lessons, rentals, and discounted lift tickets.
- Flexible Activities: Ice skating, rollerblading, biking, climbing, and more (weather permitting).
- Photo Opportunities: Create your own route to capture Yosemite's iconic landmarks.
- Lodging & Meals: Choose from camping, cabin stays, or hotel accommodations, with dining options including cookouts, cafeterias, or restaurants.
No prior experience in snow or outdoor activities is needed—this adventure is open to all skill levels!

Highlights of ISP Students
Alim Kham, an international student from Kyrgyzstan, achieved a remarkable feat by winning the bronze medal at the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association (NCTA) tournament hosted by the UC Berkeley Martial Art Program.
Alim proudly represents De Anza College on a national stage, standing out as the sole community college participant among teams from Ivy League and other prestigious institutions.
