HTEC logoThe De Anza College three-, four- and five-day HTEC CNC/CAM courses are designed to provide a wide range of training over many topics that are required to become a proficient CNC machine tool operator and  programmer. 

The training uses a hybrid approach that is industry friendly, combining classroom presentations and discussions with lab time utilizing Haas mill and lathe machine tools.

Summer 2024 Schedule - Past Couses

HTEC – Introduction to CNC Turning / 5 Day Course
Date: August 5th - August 9th (M-F)
Cost: $350.00 ($2650.00 - $2,300 Paid by Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship)
This course is designed for those with little or no 3-axis CNC lathe G-code programming, set up, and operation experience.

HTEC – Introduction to CNC Milling / 5 Day Course
Date: August 12th – August 16th (M-F)
Cost: $350.00 ($2650.00 - $2,300 Paid by Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship)
This course is designed for those with little or no 3-axis CNC mill G-code programming, set up, and operation experience.

HTEC - CNC Turning / 3 Day Course
Date: August 20th - August 22nd (Tu-Th)
Cost: $350.00 ($1,850 - $1,100) Paid by Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship)       
This course is designed for those with basic 2-axis CNC lathe G-code programming, set up, and operation experience, and little or no live-tooling experience.

HTEC - Multi-Axis CNC Milling / 4 Day Course
Date: August 26th – August 29th (M-Th)  
Cost: $350.00 ($2650.00 - $2,300 Paid by Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship)
This course is designed for those with advanced 3-axis CNC mill G-code programming, set up, and operation experience, and interest in multi-axis (4- and 5-axis) set up and operation.

Date: September 3rd – September 6th (Tu-F)
